When SHE matter most

16th July...it might seem just like an ordinary day to most ppl but not for me...365 days ago, it was a day i will cherish so much...this is the story why.....

i still rmbr it was 8 in d morning then, all of us went for breakfast at a coffee shop in downtown KL...the 5 of us we sat down after ordering our meal and i begin introducing ourselves because 4 of them were from HK and we have not met before...

i rmbr she was the 3rd one from my left...Hi, 我是 Karen!!...that was her 1st words to me...

And that is how it all begin~!!..

Today is a day that the past reminds me of the person i am now, the things that i've gone thru

What a sunDAY!!

Whenever i am back in Malaysia, there is sure alot of happening events in church...for this month, it was Honor Pastor Day yest, Youth Sunday next week and MIYAF Anniversary the following week...

sunDAY didnt started kinda well cz we had a 2 hr service yest...longest ever in my life...den it was bz bz bz all d way...practices for this and practices for that...worse of all was me acting as a 'macha' (name for an indian) for MYF anniversary...i am so bad at faking indian eng accent larrr...i am gonna suck at it REAL bad!!!...dont wanna tink 1st....

well, aft all d practices we were all half dead but some were already dead...hahaaaaa...my dear Valerie wanted to go out to hangout so off we went to Pavilion...reasons for going there??...cz my another dear Kylie nvr been there before lor...so we all agreed to go there le since dear val is so pro pavi-lion as well...hahaaaaa

The 6 of us aka zombies went to Wong Kok @ Pavilion...as always, we old ppl lik to tok more than shop...all we did was chit chatted for hrs...Peay needed Starbucks to keep herself awake so we sat there to chit chat again...hahaaaa...so as a rememberance of kylie's 1st time in Pavi-lion, she was presented with this welcome gift.....

Dai siu che Val needed to be home by 7pm for dinner, so we drop her home and the 4 of us (me, ben, kylie and peay) went for 3rd round of 'yam cha'...THIRD round worrr can u believe it???...yes we really did~!!! and we were still toking our lungs out...good lungs training btw...hahaaaa...we left Tsim Tung at 9pm and i only reach home at 11pm...

1st day in church

woot...now most of the ppl finally noes i am back....hahaaaa...Tada~ surprise i am back!!...well, i was in church today for MIF's birthday celebration...it was caotic i tell u but memang usual le...hahaaaa...saddess case of all, i am being bullied by 2 lil gals...Janice and Chyen (which i call her Chanel)...they are really cute la when they bully me...

all in all, i am happy to be home...happy to be in the midst of young ppl and their craziness again...heheee~!!

Job Done

FINALLY i am done working for my internship!!...everything went pretty well except for the results...hahaaaa...not that i did something wrong la but it seems that the result is totally different from the proven hypothesis, which meant that actually made a very small discovery...too bad i didnt get to know if that was true because the gene sequencing results were not out yet when i left...anyway, here are some pix of my lab

Teddy's Tale

As i go to sleep everynight, i am always surrounded by a few bears that are very dear to me...each of them were given to me by a very close friend...each with a story to tell...some i hold on to when i cried, some when i was at my lowest...one makes me smile while another makes me miss someone....

So comfortable to see them at night and happy to see them in the morning.....

You'll Never Walk Alone

There comes a time when a friend of mine had to leave Malaysia to further their studies again...this time, it was Rachel Chung Jen Lyn and she will be leaving to Scotland on 6 of June(if i am not wrong =P)...i always call her chung siu che cz she gives me an impression of a siu che but in fact she is not le...heheee...i only got to know her when i got back to Malaysia last december...played with her together in the band once, she was a very friendly, always smiling girl...bcz i was only back for a month, i didnt talk to her much in person...i think only once, the week before i left...nevertheless, we did keep in touch with each other on msn when i was in US and i got to know alot more about her...and i always spam her blog....heheeeee!!

well, chung siu che...as u embarked on a new journey to a place so strange and yet so far from home, always rememeber that God will be with you no matter what...when you have trouble, just call on Him and He will be there...it might be hard to adjust to a new environment sometimes, but i am sure u will do just fine!!...be friendly and make new friends...remember to enjoy yourself too when u are there...i'll see ya when you get back~!!
